Mmmm, Chinese
30 Mar 2004 01:18 amReasonably quiet day at work, picked up Maria and Bernhard from the station and headed off to the Peking Restaurant in Burleigh St.
As we had preordered, our food arrived very quickly and gorgeous it was: Starters: Szechuan Dumplings, Mains: Szechuan Prawns, Szechuan Scallops, Sliced Sole in Black Bean Sauce, Steamed Seabass with ginger and spring onion, Yu Hsiang Chicken, Special Noodles in Soup with Veg and Mixed Veg on Crispy Rice, all absolutely beautiful and wonderful in generous portions.
Everybody loved it so I'm pleased with that.
Am now eating dark chocolate flavoured with Earl Grey, odd but nice.
More work, pub and then Calling tomorrow. *bounce*
