The disadvantage of having no grandmothers anymore

is that Christmas money is pretty lacking. Cash in hand this year: EUR 100. While my grandmothers were still alive, this was at least four times as much.

Today was visiting relatives day (mother's sister and husband), the only close relatives who don't live in our house (the other being my dad's brother who lives upstairs). There was mucho yummy food (pork roast with gorgeous potato salad and other side salads, fruit salad for dessert, home-baked Christmas cookies with coffee).
Didn't need much for dinner, naturally.

Spent more time finding my way into the Illuminatus! trilogy and slowly I'm getting there. The constant swaps between times, protoganists and storylines still hurt my head, although I'm getting used to them.
One thought, if they researched their "facts" as well as the German, I wouldn't give them much credence. ;oP

Tomorrow last full day to relax, Tuesday I'm off to Nuremberg after lunch.

I got EUR 50. Which is surprising as Euro's aren't a legal currency in the UK like they are in Germany. I'll still find a use for them, of course, just waiting for the next fest....
