Cunning Virus Spam
21 Sep 2003 12:13 pmJust got two mails from "Microsoft" and "MS Program Security Department" but with obviously dodgy emal addresses (random user names at technet and advisor.msn.com).
The mail in HTML format looks quite official and even has a title bar with links to the microsoft support site. Its well written and warns about the latest security issues in MS products which the attached patch is going to fix.
People who don't know MS's policy (they don't send attachments and will only post links to their support site) might well fall for that.
