Captain Future
22 Apr 2003 11:00 pmI mentioned this in my CAH post and thanks to
dragonsire I now have a VHS video from eBay.
Very strangely, it's entitled "Special Agents and Alien Cut-Throats" which didn't ring any bells at all. Watching it, I quickly found out it's "Captain Future and the Space Emperor" (Der Herrscher von Megara in German). It almost feels like I'm ten again...
Two things are slightly putting me off. The soundtrack music is completely different and Grag is so camp, it's unbelievable!
Also not too happy with the American names, but those are orginal, anyway, just unfamiliar to me. Grag is Mr Andro, Otto is Mr Gum, Simon Wright (the floating brain) is Dr Dromo and Joan is Magra.
If only could get my hands on German tapes without paying a fortune...

Knautsch would be a good one for Mr Gum and maybe Robbi for Grag (but that was taken by Robbi, Tobbi und das Fliwatüt)
