Last night was fun
28 Nov 2010 03:57 pmThen everybody filed downstairs and the party began. The first dance was wonderful, the second dance was some rather puzzling (at least to the non-Geordies in attendance) circle dance that was started by the bride and her father, with more and more family members (and the groom) joining in.
So, it was a good evening sending off a lovely couple into their life together (and honeymoon in Lapland!) that involved catching up with old friends I hadn't seen in a while. Other than that, the highlight of the evening was the pinball machine. I made a highscore - I had no idea I still had it in me after 25 years. Shame the display was broken so I couldn't enter my name properly and didn't know my final score.

Geordies and one honorary Geordie dancing

Lizzie was happy. :o)

My favourite shot of the night: The groom looking smug while the bride dances in the background.
