Poor gummy bear. ;)

Somebody should replace the fizzing/gurgling sound with some high-pitched screaming. ;)

The words "bouncing here and there and everywhere" spring to mind.

Quite spectacular, isn't it? Just wished they'd turned down the light a bit.
Should work with Jelly Babies, too. :D

Hehe.
I thought he was being a bit careless prodding that bear into the test tube but remembering my chemistry teachers, I'm not surprised. ;o)

I'm doing that this week with my Year 8s. Somewhere kicking around there is video footage of me and [livejournal.com profile] ironlord doing the same reaction in his garden with icing sugar and weedkiller... it's essentially how to make a weedkiller bomb. Obviously, I don't tell the kids that, or indeed use icing sugar (the surface area is dangerously high).

Cool! Any specific kind of week killer? Not that I'd want to recreate it.
