Yeah (am I so shallow!). Turns out a friend was in it - and has them on her facebook.

So your name and your name are different? I mean I don't talk I'm called mavis in real life and it's not the name on my birth certificate....

Well, yes. "Karohemd" means "checked shirt" in German so definitely isn't my name. ;o) I don't tend to use my real name on LJ for various reasons.
My real name, however, is at the bottom of karohemd.co.uk.

What I mean is - the name at the bottom of the web page is not the name I was introduced to you as.... So it's not how I think of you. Which is what through me....

Oh right, sorry, crossed wires there. Various reasons: My real name is boring, there are far too many of them and very few Brits can pronounce it properly so I tend to introduce myself with the nickname I've had for almost 30 years.
