Snow in Cambs

I actually can't remember a time (since '96) when the snow has actually stuck for this long. Yes, there's been snow but it usually was gone within a day or two. There isn't much of it (an inch or two, unlike other parts of the country) but it's still there. Quite impressive.

Waaay back when I was there I remember one year with tons of snow and a frozen river. Can't remember which year! But I'll try to dig out some pics and scan them...

I'm actually surprised the river wasn't frozen, it's so slow and sluggish.

1981 was the last significant snow / freeze year, iirc.
