I just had a thought for expanding that food meme

Put the foodstuffs you've cooked yourself in italics. I shall do that to mine in a bit but I need to find something to eat first. ;o)

City of Lost Children

I'd almost forgotten how wonderful this film is. It's beautiful (sets and costuimes), sad, funny (especially the more subtle stuff like the conjoined twins smoking), scary and of course in best Jeunet fashion, off-the-wall weird. It also probably has the ugliest cast in film history (led by Ron Perlman, Dominique Pinon and whoever plays Krank). I just wish I understood French properly, I think I'd get even more out of it.
