This man knows how to burn calories
15 Aug 2008 04:19 pmMichael Phelps' diet
I mean, look at him, he consists of bones and muscle, there isn't a gram of fat in sight, yet he eats 10,000(!) calories worth of carbs and fat (and very little veg) each day. o_O
In other Olympic news, Germany are now 3rd overall. Damn impressive. Track&Field still to come, though so things might shift. However, I don't think anyone other than the USA and China will be able to claim 1 and 2 in the end.

15 Aug 2008 08:13 pmSo I watched the highlights of today, incl. the qualifying heats for the men's 100m sprint. Congrats to Team GB for getting one into the semis, the Germans were left well behind!
And then there's this Jamaican guy, Bolt (how appropriate is that name?). During his heat, he slowed down after about 40m and finished the race at a leisurely jog, still making it well under 10s. What is that guy capable of if he actually goes at full pelt? I guess we'll see tomorrow.
