As mentioned last night, I left the photos intact and only desaturated them. They were a bit too nice to make randomly blurred shots out of them.

I'm currently glad my parents don't live near any (big) rivers and the probability of the Selbbach flooding and reaching our house is very very small indeed.
Southern Germany, as well as parts of Austria and Switzerland are looking bad, though.

This is not, as it may look like, a river or canal, it's a motorway in Switzerland and

Bern looks like Venice...

The Cam seems to be reasonably well behaved so far but if this goes on for a week I might have to start wading when I want to get into my car. The area where our office is was under water during the heavy floods a few years ago.

Update: Found the leaflet online.

This morning I received a leaflet entitled "The Bible in a nutshell, a FREE 6-week seminar".
Further reading reveals it's from the local branch of the Christadelphians.
As far as odd Christian cults go, these people seem to be rather harmless, if you can call taking the Bible literally harmless..

It includes the memorable section:
You will not...
- be asked to join the Christadelphians, be saved or make a commitment.

Anyone else got this? (assuming only Arbury/Kings Hedges area as it's at the Manor Community Centre)
