Updates

Sunday's Requiem game was very good, I even got to go and do a few things. We had a few visitors, almost all of them Lancea Sanctum, incl. cobraprime's fantastic phoney Baptist teleevangelist.
I have a few nice photos, too, which might go up tonight if I'm back from WUS on time. I'll probably leave them just black&white as some of them are too nice to be blurred.

Last night, I popped round davefish's to pick up my prints (again, I'm very impressed with the quality, especially of the high ISO gig shots), look at his impressive portfolio and chat a bit about stuff incl. a possible photography day.

Tonight is pub, followed by Octaine conference at WUS, tomorrow Tai Chi and an early night and on Thursday camgothfilmclub: I'm hosting at robinbloke's and it'll be either Casshern or Oldboy and Arahan. There's a poll in the community so if you're interested, vote and come along.

The weekend will be spent tidying, sorting things I don't need into boxes so my parents can take them, a spot of cleaning and then upgrading my PC with the new bits I bought recently (extra RAM, DVD writer, large secondary HD).

Silly questions

The main problem I have with this one is that you can't deselect users so you get users who aren't people. Some of them are funny, though.

Modern burial practices

Considering the cost of burials and "rent" of cemetery spaces, the home burial sounds very appealing (if you own the house and grounds). It is, however, completely illegal in Germany.

A helicopter is circling not far from our office, north of the river, roughly where the Green Dragon is.
Any ideas what's going on?

Helicopter update

It got weirder.
I left the car park and kept hearing the helicopter and when I crossed Elizabeth Way bridge, it always kept level with my car. I went around the roundabout and into the car park, got out of the car and there it was, hovering above East Road roughly, exactly level with me. I walked over to behind the Grafton Centre and sure enough, it kept level. Don't know how long it stayed there after I entered the pub, though.

Pub was good and I played a game for once, specifically Rocketman (a collectible tabletop game wth rocket ships) with jholloway which I lost horribly but was fun regardless.
