Carnivàle

Just watched episodes 7 and 8 and if I wasn't really hooked before, I'm now.
I think part of what makes this series a cut above the rest is the way it manages to combine a story for the episode, character development and metaplot (Ben's and Brother Justin's backgrounds) into one nice whole. Nothing feels tagged on or superfluous.

Weather forecast for Maidstone on Sunday isn't good. Raincoat and hat are in order, I think...
Let's hope the forecast is wrong, as so often. As long as it doesn't rain, I don't mind.
