Wow, what a gig! Definitely ranking in the top ten of gigs I've seen in the last 20 years and I've been to loads.
Great show, great costumes, a new level of personal pyrotechnics (raggedy_man, you would have loved it) and a good atmosphere, too.

The only downside was coming back as the semi-fast train was cancelled and the slow train terminated in Stevenage to be replaced by a bus. At least they had a separate bus for Royston and Cambride so it wasn't too bad and I was home by 2am.

Managed to miss most people but waved at zenmeisterin and chatted with devalmont on the bus home.

Shower and bed now.

Tomorrow

I'm driving to Bourne tomorrow but will crash over (will be bringing my airbed and sleeping bag) so I can go to the Tai Chi Intensive in Huntingdon on Sunday morning (yes, I'm mad).

This means I would offer lifts to people but they'd have to crash as well and be stranded in Huntingdon on Sunday (especially if I stay for the AGM but that's unlikely).

Sorry about that.

Finally weekend

Finally managed to get up and be at work for 11 which wasn't too bad because work load was light.
Just gathered my things when I got a text from mazzarc who had passed her work trial and wanted to see a film, so I booked two tickets for Ocean's Twelve.
We managed to get there nice and early with reasonable seats. OK film, funny in places and completely different than the first one, good to spend two hours at the cinema but it missed the style of the first one.
