Gah, tech problem

karohemdI have an odd problem: I can't attach a zip file with either Yahoo or Gmail. The attachment always fails. It's not too big. Strangely, the progress bar moves very quickly at first, then slows down and finally stops at 8something percent. Any idea what this could be?

NB: Attaching a few JPGs works but it won't accept the zip file.
