til the 29th of this month when The Rising, Bruce Springsteen's first album with the E-Street Band (including Nils Lofgren AND "Miami" Steve van Zandt!) since 1984 (!) will be released. Incidentally, Born in the U.S.A was the first album (of any artist) I bought.
Judging from the online previews of Mary's Place and the title song, it should be good. The Boss has gone back to his traditional style, it seems.

Well, I'll see when I have the album.

And then there's me hoping I manage to get tickets should he come over here. The website only says something about shows in Europe in October but not where...

Jay's on Burleigh St. is closing down (10% on everything sale). A real shame to see them go, was a good shop. Good selection, reasonable prices and especially very knowledgeable and helpful staff. I've bought most of my CDs there unless I was in Germany.
The new Springsteen album will probably be the last CD I'll buy there.
Bloody chains.

On the other hand, the new RHCP album rocks (and funks) big time.
