Cinema tonight

Due to me being crap I forgot to ask before I went for lunch and so didn't pick up tickets for others.
I have a ticket for Minority Report tonight at the WarnerVillage at 8:30.

Anyone's welcome to join me. I'll be at the pub from about 7:30, I guess, maybe a bit earlier.

Minority Report

Wow, a Stephen Spielberg movie that isn't cheesy and schmaltzy.
It's a near future (2054), Big Brother-esque (everybody is tagged and id'd) film with believable tech. The tech was really cool, I thought.
The story had enough twists and surprises to remain interesting, with a Hollywood ending, though. However, I haven't read the short story it's based on.

Acting wise, Tom Cruise was good and Max von Sydow was in his usual form. How old is he now? It seems he hasn't aged since The Exorcist and that was almost 30 years ago...

Does anybody know which Philip K Dick story this is based on and if that's available somewhere?
I didn't pay attention during the credits.

Go and see it and build your own opinion, it'll be worth it.
