A good weekend

Indeed.

Friday eve I went shopping for the party. Went home and made my dippadoom. I underestimated the strength of Waitrose garlic and the dip was too harsh for even me so I couldn't possibly offer that and had to buy another tub of fromage frais to stretch it.

Then went to the Corner House and had fun with Vicky, Paul, Craig, Jason, Kay, Al and Simon playing the most crap pool ever. Got home and relaxed on IRC and watched Shrek.

Saturday
Slept in late and just relaxed. Got the stuff for the party together and headed off to Robin's to drop it off. Back into town to pick up Lucy and Andy. People started turning up slowly but steadily and the silly video party was soon in full swing. Lots of people were there, sadly only Cam members, none of the invited goths or normals (with the exception of Mel, Jon Argles' wife).
Much sugar, alcohol and chocolate was consumed, it was a lot of fun.
Featured videos/DVDs: Emperor's New Groove, Galaxy Quest, two episodes of Banzai, RHPS of course and some anime on SciFi.
Many started to leave after RHPS, only Robin, Dave&Jenny, Duncan, Grim, Craig, Paul, Vicky, Claire and me stayed behind to crash on various floors/cushions/beds/sofas.

Sunday
Crawled out of the sleeping bag around nine and helped clear up. People gathered and we continued the video program interrupted by sugar and lard: Shrek, Demolition Man and Star Wars.
After that, some more cleaning up and then I gave Claire a lift to Stamford in silly traffic and rain. Suits me for being a gentleman ;o)
