The LHC has been working again since Friday night and has yet to switch itself off from the future.
Now to wait for the first real Big Bang. :)

The big bang was on Saturday, but our reality has just been switched over to a new virual server, have you not noticed that everything is a bit laggy now?

Good grief - so when civilization reaches the point where it's possible to construct a simulation of an entire, vast universe things still run on single virtual machines instead of a distributed, redundant cloud?!

No wonder so much stuff goes wrong in the universe. Let me guess, it's still written in C++ too?

I suspect that the whole universe is actually an iPhone app; GoogleReality £2.99. It's why the music is so bad.
