- After only two episodes, the new reimagining of V is excellent. I hope they keep this up. I hardly recognised Morena Baccarin, though, she's so skinny now! :o(
- Flashforward is a bit meh but seems to be moving on a bit so I'll keep watching
- Still can't get into Dollhouse Season 2 and now it's been cancelled (not surprising, really). Shame, it showed potential at the end of first season.
- Dexter is moving along, too. They are all screwed in the head. Good thing that Trinity has stopped killing, though, because I don't think I could have handled more naked Lithgow.
- Sons of Anarchy continues to be scary and gripping. I really don't understand the poor ratings on TV.com.
- Supernatural Season 5 is trundling along. I hope they're picking up the Lucifer/Apocalypse timeline again soon but the Trixter episode was good.
- Big Bang Theory was a bit cringeworthy this week but I find Sheldon more and more sympathetic
- Venture Bros. Season 4 rocks (so far, after three episodes, haven't been able to find the 4th yet)
- Heroes continues to be meh. I'd hoped this season would be all about the backstory but instead they introduce this half-baked new character who meddles in everything with seemingly no purpose. I don't get it and Hiro is just annoying me now.
- Haven't quite caught up with True Blood Season 2 yet, am about halfway through.
- Ooh, just remembered Legend of the Seeker Season 2 started last week. Eeek, something else to keep up on.

Flashforward seems to have a good episode where stuff happens, followed by a rather dull one where people feel bad about stuff.

The only other series I'm watching at the moment is the excellent, although slightly too obvious in places, Generation Kill.

There's a new E4 series about Asbo Superheroes that starts tonight, Misfits. Could be fun.

*nods*
Generation Kill isn't really my thing.
Ah, I've seen a preview of Misfits, I think.

They are at least going to air the remaining 9 episodes of Dollhouse that they ordered. I really enjoyed s02e04, probably the best one of the entire run thus far.

My theory on Dexter (I haven't seen episodes 7 yet and so this entire theory might be proven false) is that Trinity didn't kill Lundy or wound Deb. I can't decide whether I think it's Anton or Joe Quinn. I think Quinn because of the attempt to make it look like the Vacation Murderer and because of the use of gloves and things. I have no idea of motive, however, although he is being extra-nice to her now. Whereas Anton has lots of motive, and potentially is smart enough to have thrown suspicion elsewhere. Hmm.

Do you watch Castle? It's entirely worthwhile. I'm also following Fringe and House, both of which are very good this season. I've been downloading Heroes but haven't yet brought myself to watch it :-s

And I'm waiting for Burn Notice and Leverage to restart...

Dollhouse? Is that the one with Sierra?

No comment on Dexter. :)

I watched the pilot of Castle and put it back to when I have more time. Does look good, though.
I'm getting Season 1 of Fringe on DVD to get all the bits I've missed.

I can't wait for the restart of Leverage, either. :)

Yep, s02e04 of Dollhouse is Sierra's "origin story," if you like...

Your silence on the subject of Dexter is infuriating! I shall have to make time this weekend to watch it.

Season 2 of Castle has an awesome Hallowe'en episode with a Firefly reference. [livejournal.com profile] simara and I had a collective squeegasm.

I really, really like Fringe -- but then I was a massive X-Files freak too.

Castle is very entertaining, the firefly ref was great. It also seems like a role Nathan Fillion must have a lot of fun playing. Its most similar to bones but I think I like it more as both characters are far less annoying than Bones or Booth

I watched the first three or four episodes of Sons of Anarchy but I can't say it gripped me. Nice idea but I think it is only going to appeal to a small demographic.

Haven't seen any of S5 Supernatural yet. I think the whole angels aspect, which intially interesting, has left me cold in the end.

At the moment I am really enjoying Stargate Universe. A very different format and one that for me is working nicely.

That's the thing. SoA is really about the characters and group dynamics and things like that and I really like that.

That initially annoyed me, too, but I (and they) got over it and it works better now.

Never got into Stargate for one reason or another so I have no reason to start now.
