seems to be a bit rubbish.
Have any of you tried it?

I see no evidence that it's rubbish, but this...
"Third, if Wave is really going to revolutionise the way we communicate, it's going to have to be integrated with other tools like e-mail and social networks.

...is a shocking level of undiluted stupid for someone who's supposed to be technical!

Then again, it's to be expected given what their idea of testing Wave consisted of. It isn't supposed to be a system for embedding rich media into forum threads. The idea is to collaborate on projects. That is to say, actually doing stuff.

Maybe they should try it.

I watched the 90 minute presentation they have up for this, and it looks interesting. it is only really, by looks of it, useful for internet conferancing though. You can post up a document and everyone can chat and edit it to get a final product.

Yeah, I have an account, and have been faffing around learning how to build bots for it for a while. The current interface seems a bit shit. But I think it's pretty well-targeted, as a piece of corporate warfare. Give it maybe 6 months, and somebody from outside Google will build a better interface.
