OK, I'm usually quite careful when a film gets a lot of hype and I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I definitely didn't expect this. It starts like the trailer in a pseudo documentary style but then turns into something quite different. As somebody else said (I think it was
angusabranson), Hollywood should look at this long and hard, that's how you make a film.
Yes, there's action and firefights and CGI but in the end, it's all about the characters and the alien is the most human of them all. Production values are very high as well, the CGI integration is phenomenal.

I've been thinking about seeing it myself.
