The author clearly has no idea who James May is (a little research would go a long way) but it's the photos that count. Quite impressive but it's all based on a wooden frame so not all Lego.

Well I hope it complies with proper Building Regulations! Also, is it being built in the UK? I find it hard to believe you'd ever be allowed Planning Permission in the UK for anything fun anything slightly out of the ordinary.

It's in Surrey (http://www.jamesmaystoystories.com/James_May/Welcome.html). assume they get away with it because it's not going to be a proper house as such and will be torn down after the event.

It is weird reading that when you know who he is! I'm not quite sure why... I suppose it's like a disconcerting glimpse into an alternative universe where James May is famous for being a toy fanatic. Good for him, anyway.

Definitely good for him. I love his non-Top Gear projects like the space one he did a few weeks ago.
