urgh, crunchycrrunchyskippy - not sure whether it's my end or the site is being overloaded, or the embedding is doing horrid things, but even when left on pause to buffer & then pressing play, it's just freezing up visually & sounding like a stuck record!

Given how many people prefer the service to YouTube I assume it must stream smoothly for some people. My guess is they cap bandwidth very low for users outside the US.

No, but I do a lot of layout and design work as part of my day job. Photomanipulation and re-touching too. That stuff is fun, but I've never enjoyed design/layout work very much. It's too fiddly for my liking.
