Weekend update

It was a weekend of indulgence.
This started on Friday night, when i_am_toast, pinkapplejam and raggedy_man descended on Alimentum for some fine dining, utilising the "buy one main, get one free" voucher I got last time. A very enjoyable evening with good company. Writeup with my menu choices here.

On Saturday I slept in, wandered to the Art of Meat and the greengrocer for dinner ingredients and cooked these wonderful lamb chops for dinner. There was also reading in the garden and watching silly DVDs/TV.

On Sunday, I slept til past noon (11 hours o_O), pootled about, actually doing something useful (two lots of washing up) but also more reading and watching stuff. Dinner was yummy Kaiserschmarrn.

TV: I'm not quite sure about Dollhouse yet or where it's going, it's sort of trundling along, Supernatural first had a revelation and then a bit of a letdown with a basic foe but Sons of Anarchy continues to impress, especially Katey Sagal.

WFRP tonight. Dooooom!

There are no measurements except no of eggs as it's all about consistency, i.e. enough liquid to make the amount you want and then add enough flour to get the right consistency.

Having seen the American run of Dollhouse (i.e. sans 13th episode, which will be shown over here) it really picks up steam around Ep5 and is actually very good viewing. And not just for Eliza-based eye candy, either! *grin*

I'm glad you're enjoying Sons of Anarchy. Season two to be aired around September in the US with Henry Rollins! win!!

It's a bit like Dexter in a way, in that it makes you care for people who are, in effect, criminals. Add some pretty damn good acting and it makes for compelling viewing.

That sounds like win indeed. I only watched Wrong Turn 2 because he was in it and he had some great lines. ;o)

Finally got my tushie around to adding you to my f-list ;)

I watched the first few eps of Dollhouse and then just didn't get around to watching it again until I heard that the final ones were pretty good and watched them online. I wish I'd have continued to keep watching it as the season went along since I've missed some in the middle that don't seem to be online anywhere but I'm certainly going to give season 2 a try now that it's been renewed. :)
