Firefox help?

Whenever I right-click download something, the progress bar shows up but when the download is finished the window is empty (the files are in the selected location, though). Any ideas?

I seem to remember that there is an option in the internet settings menu for clearing the download box once downloads are completed. I'm using dirty I.E. at work at the moment though so I can't check it I'm afraid.

No, that's not it. There's only an "close download window..." one and that isn't on.
Besides, I haven't changed anything and it suddenly stopped working.

There is an option for it under 'Privacy' called I think 'remember wbat I've downloaded'

D'oh, that was it. I remember now that I deactivated it after reading that it would help FF run faster. For some reason, I didn't associate the option with the download window (which I usually clear each day or even after I've downloaded stuff). Cheers!
