At the bottom of facebook photos is now a "Like" link (you're supposed to click it when you like the photo). After you click the link it changes to "Unlike".
*forcefully unrolls toenails*

Well, dislike implies a negative opinion toward the picture, rather than a desire to return to neutrality. Perhaps De-like would be better?

*nods* My main reason for disliking it is because the pairing "like/unlike" has a completely different meaning.

Mm, I can see "unlike" confusing a few people! ("Unlike to what?")

"Don't like" would have been better, although I guess that still carries an implication of "dislike".

They're actually asking whether you think that the photo bears a sufficiently decent resemblance to the individual in question.

No, they are not because after you click there's the line "You like this photo".
