Yep. Just you. :-p

I love it, personally. I haven't really asked about as to what other people think of it, though.

Clearly not; BBC3 certainly don't get it, hence their repeated promotion of it as a comedy drama.

It should have been a proper sitcom.

Which of these are you perving over?
1) Vampire
2) Werewolf
3) Ghost
4) None of the above
It is not very complicated ;)

Hmmm- is it 'being human' you don't get, or is "Being Human" the name of some TV programme?

If the former, then you probably aren't the only one. If the latter, I haven't the foggiest.

The title is that none of the main characters are human - and they're desperately trying to be human and fit in. As opposed to being a vampire / werwolf / undead.

Does that make sense?

Oh, I know what it's supposed to be, I just find it neither funny nor that great. I didn't get The Office, either.

Ahh, I see what you mean.

I like it, but I don't find it to be a comedy. It's more a sci-fi drama with funny bits.

I loathed The Office. I hate comedy that's purile and makes me cringe.

it rules.
it rules because its skipping happily between the genres.
I could not get the first part of the first episode and then I figured it out.
ignore genre- or place it in a genre of 'being human' and at THAT point it suddenly clicks.
:)

I rather liked the first episode but didn't get on so well with the second.

Need to watch more to decide :)

It's a mish mash of stuff I've seen over the years. The script is as funny as Jos Wheden stuff - buffy/angel/firefly but it seems to have taken more the underworld set of rules when it comes to Vampires and Werewolves and the politics. Then add a bit of brit humour and set it in a very recognisable unique city, possibly the San Fran of the UK (a bit of charmed in there too maybe?) then give us some eye candy, none of them any of us could kick out of bed and daanaa! it's rather entertaining, I think.

My problem is that I really don't think it's funny and I usually like quirky comedy stuff (which it apprently is).
