It's beginning to grow on me. Yes, it's still rubbish but entertaining rubbish, cheesy as hell (the Sword of Righteousness and the Orb of Sanctity) but hey, this is light Saturday evening entertainment.

Er, no, Snakes on a Plane is on next Saturday, my bad.

I actually quite like it as well. Sure it's cheesy as hell, but it's entertaining enough.
The sad thing is that it's getting compared to Buffy which is a bit unfair considering it's only 2 episodes in. It would be better to compare it to the first few episodes in season 1 of Buffy which were not that great either (witness the nasty killer mantis-woman).
I do think it's a shame that Philip Gleistener (sp?) has been made to play an American. Thus far, aside from some quips from Richard Wilson's character, there's been no real reason for him to be American and therefore his strained accent isn't necessary (though perhaps this will change later).

I entirely agree on Phil Glenister's character. A grumpy Cockney would suit him much better.

I think it has potential, though as someone else pointed out 6 episodes probably isn't enough to establish itself properly

It was cheesy but relatively well done. I worried it would be more of a rip off of a doctor who plot when I saw the trailer

It was nice that Glenisters character go injured and had to go to hospital for it which is rare in these sorts of programmes
