WTF?

The Gender Analyzer thinks my LJ isn't written in English. Is my English really that bad? For the most part, I write fully formed sentences that might contain the occasional typo, which can't be said by some of the blogs on my f-list. I'm a woman. Rubbish.

Seconded. I suspect the Lj name might have thrown it, as well - the URL having karohemd might be why it's choking.

It thinks my journals written by a woman as well. It's currently getting only a 46% success rate...

...it says the blog is most likely written by a woman; I have a theory regarding why it shows as such; you do not frequently use gender specific pronouns, and when you do use them, it is typically in reference to the subject of photography where many of your subjects are either gender neutral or female.

It's only reporting "female" for you now. Maybe it doesn't like eloquent chefs? Your English is perfectly OK - and it is a characteristic of non-native speakers that they are often more grammatically correct than natives.

well I tried feeding it my LJ, Douglas' LJ and a female friends LJ, it thinks that Douglas is a woman and my friend and I are male. that's a 0/3 success rate...
