All about new ways of harnessing energy today, from the established to the interesting and quirky. The most impressive bit was the last one with the parabolic mirrors to produce serious heat (a plate of steel melted in a couple of seconds). The actual aim is to synthesise petrol out of thin air (or rather, the contained CO₂). Let's see if we hear from them in a couple of years...
