Now if anyone has an inflated ego, it's the Shat. Poor man. I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry.

My understanding is that there's always been a rift between The Shat and the rest of the original Trek crew. I think that Leonard Nimoy is the only one who ever had anything to do with him.

I suspect there's a fair bit of ego on both sides, but possibly a bit more on The Shat's side...

I've read The Shat's Trek Memories, or whatever it's called. Obviously it presents a rather one-sided account of things, but I get the impression that The Shat is genuinely clueless about why the others don't like him. Now that could be because his ego is so huuuuuuge that he's not even aware of how obnoxious he appears to others, or maybe it really isn't his fault and the others snubbed him for some reason?

It's just a shame really. They should all get along in Trek harmony!

Indeed. I have enormous respect for famous people who manage not to turn into twats.
