Gah, foodie TV conflict

Restaurant challenge (making a cookbook, oh dear) on BBC2 and River Cottage Autumn on Channel 4, while I'm finishing dinner (at least the frittata only needs to brown under the grill) and I can zap between channels.

ETA: Oops, that frittata could have fed a family of four... *burp* Oh well, lunch sorted tomorrow and Saturday.

I missed River Cottage because I was at work, and I'll miss the repeat on Sat, and I can't make my DVD recorder work, and my computer is too rubbish to play that "on demand" thing... Gutted! : (

and perfect for using up eggs, bits of veg and other leftovers (like the ham slices I had and needed to go).
Mine had potatoes as the filler base, leeks, mushrooms, garlic, ham, four eggs and two nice handfuls of mature cheddar. It was wonderfully fluffy. :o)
