Oh deary deary me. I'd fire the whole bloody lot of them. Let's see who actually gets the boot.
ETA: I feel really sorry for Harriet but Mike deserved the kick up his arse. Lucky lucky James/Alasdair with their wrong balance of food/everything else and Chris who served the same menu to low and high table.

The dons of Oxford have the high table, therefore a more a la carte menu. The low table, i.e. the undergrads get normal fodder.

Personally, I don't mind (students are paying through the nose and get lower grade food while fellows who actually get paid have the better grub and wine, it's grossly unfair) but the object of the challenge was to observe the traditions they needed to find out beforehand.

Husband and I watched with a mixture of fascination and horror.

Up north chaps - same meal to high and low table - I like how they did this with style - but I don't think they are long for this world.

Dad and daughter (who never seemss to open her mouth and yet words issue from it) - not bad, but by god Dad did faff around.

Two non-communicating chaps - awful awful awful. Fiyah them please! Although, um, they didn't. Why why why?

Who are your favourites?
I want Helen and Stephen to win, they are the only ones who don't have illusions of grandeur and take criticism well. Helen might not be the greatest chef but they are the best team.
