Wow, very good. Various people have been going on about this film and it has a good rating on imdb, both well deserved.
Warning to those who might be suffering from motion sickness: It's Blair Witch/Cloverfield style shakycam (a TV crew follows a firefighter crew around when they are a called to an apartment buiding where an old woman can't get out of her apartment) so a bit annoying at times but it really adds to the tense atmosphere. This is what Diary of the Dead should have been like.
Oh, and it's in Spanish with subtitles.

Thanks for the heads up on evil camera work.
Sounds like it's a good film though

It's how a modern action horror film should be, harsh, and one that doesn't chicken out towards the end but at the same time manages to explain what's been going on. It's a bit gory but most of the gore action gets lost in the mayhem.

Time was, I would have considered that a detraction from a film's merits that would probably have prevented me seriously considering it.

And then I saw Pan's Labyrinth, and learnt just how wrong I had been all that time!

Heh. Have you seen The Orphanage? If not, you should.

Actually, in this case, the dialogue isn't that important, with the exception of the bit where they find out why things are happening. It's usually easy to tell that they're saying "ARRRGH, IT'S EATING MY FACE!" ;o)

i now have an image of Bumblebee Man in The Simpsons saying something like "Ayayay, se come mi cara!"

(But I'm guessing it's not really very much like that...)
