Later... is back at 10 (just the short but live version) on BBC2. This time: Metallica (not convinced, too much wank), Paul McCartney (misinformation on the RadioTimes site), Kings of Leon, Sway, Nicole Atkins (not bad), VV Brown (weird, pseudo-retro stuff, quite cool) and Carla Bruni (sexy voice when talking, needs a bit more voice training for singing, music was cool).

I love the range in that programme. Sometimes there is music that one wouldn't listen to usually, and it turns out to be good.

I've made many a musical discovery on that programme, and since John Peel's death, it's the only place to do that. While I might not like everything, the music is always good.

Well its convinced me that Kings of Leon aren't worth bothering with, but VV Brown was lots of fun. If they bring back Return to the Forbidden Planet she should be in the cast.

Nice to see Metallica bring back the solos though.
