Why! How will it work? What's the point, our Spaced has the Shaun of the Dead people, that's a far bigger draw for an American audience (that also loves British stuff) than remaking it. Pointless.

Yup, but how much bigger is the American audience that neither loves British stuff nor has seen Shaun?

Make the show for a mainstream USian audience on a network, the premise is fine but the humour would need adapting. It's not like we don't do the same the other way at times, and non-anglophone countries do it constantly.
