My ears feel like being packed in cotton wool but at least the background buzz is gone. If only I'd taken my earplugs or rather, the venue would have had a sound engineer who didn't think cranking up the system beyond distortion was a good thing and louder was better. :o/

There was basically no light, except from two or three LED spots on the right so I had to resort to flash most of the time, built-in flash at that as I'd left my flashgun at home. Oh well, some of them came out quite well.

  
 

















This was the lucky shot. The green light from the left came from the autofocus LED of another camera.

Photos look great, despite difficult conditions! Very sorry we couldn't make it after our deliberations. Maybe next time. Though it sounds like we saved our hearing O_o

AFAIK, they're trying to get a gig in Cambridge soon so watch this spot.

It really wasn't ear friendly, I still haven't fully recovered. I really must remember to have my earplugs with me at all times. As I wanted to take pics I couldn't flee to the back of the room, either. :o/
