*grins* Glad you like it! :o) It wasn't very bright there, this was at f2.8, ISO800 and 1/25s which is just about possible to hold with a heavy camera but tricky with a small one and flash would just have ruined the poster. ETA: The funny thing is that we were joking about taking photos of you and the poster sometime last year and now it really happened. ;o)
So you like the living in a hovel idea? Or would you rather an old, drafty castle? How would you get telephone, let alone broadband? Travelling would be a bitch, too and helicopter fuel is expensive.
The Old Ship is under new management (only half a year or so) and I think they changed the name. It's in the corner buiding between Market and Bethel St. in a mock tutor building between an HSBC (on the corner) and a Halifax bank (which are pretty much in the same building). It's my friends' local and does really good real and local ales and great food, too.

The Island

Date: 17/6/08 05:41 pm (UTC)I want a big old castle on the coast so I can walk the ramparts and laugh maniacally at the howling winds and the waves crashing off the rocks!
