There is finally a website for this year but so far no information on tickets .
The hotel link seems to have disappeared, too. Come on Tony, get a move on.

[livejournal.com profile] pmoodie, is the Nosferatu thing yours?

A few highlights have been announced, too: Grindhouse Double Bill (hopefully the full thing and not just both film after one another), The Thing in 70mm, the orginal Dracula (I assume the restored version) and some other classic horror flicks.

Nah, the Nosferatu thing isn't mine I'm afraid.

They often seem to have had a different bit of artwork on the website from the fest itself.

Stil, I get a credit at the bottom of the home page, amongst all the famous people! :)

Sounds like a plan. The dinner plans aren't definite yet but I assume this is planned for the evening. I'll check and get back to you asap.

I'll be grabbing a bundle of them so I can show them to relatives and friends, so I'm sure I can spare you one! :D

Really not interested in grindhouse :(

That's fair enough.
The two films are very different, though. I wasn't really impressed with Death Proof but Planet Terror is awesome. It's just an OTT zombie/splatter flick (with Zombie sfx grandmaster Tom Savini in another guest role) a bit like From Dusk Till Dawn (without the road movie bit in the beginning).

Has it got the humour of dusk till dawn?

Yes. I have it on DVD so I could rip a copy for you and bring it?

Well, if it's going to be shown anyway, thanks but no thanks, I'll maybe watch it there.

OK. I'm not so sure I want to sit through Death Proof again but seeing Planet Terror would be good.
