[livejournal.com profile] skorpionuk did the German version so I'll put the regional variant when applicable. [livejournal.com profile] whiskeylover and [livejournal.com profile] madmoses, feel free to chip in and [livejournal.com profile] faerierhona could provide the Austrian version. ;o) I think the rest of the Germans on my f-list don't have a dialect.

"Fangen"! Thank you, that was bugging me.
"Feigling" is good, too, but a bit Southern. And now it means a drink ofc.

I can sort of 'hear' most of those words in my head, and understand them... except for "Käöi". WTF?? ;-)

Sounds a bit like "kay" would in English but with a weird inflection in a sound.
Transcribing dialect isn't easy and it's been a while since I read anything written in dialect (Deas Gschichtn etc.) so it might not be correct. I don't know the phonetic alphabet, either. I always have to read dialect texts out loud to understand them. It's really weird.

If I have time over the weekend, I'll make a voice post. :o)

It's been so long since I heard German, let alone Pfäzisch, that I doubt I could think of many from my neck of the woods now. Yours was an interesting read, though. :-)

Handkaes mit Musik
I usually like stinky cheeses but I could never stand this. I think it's the texture.
