Took a few shots of the blossoms (about 1cm across in RL) on the small cherry tree in the garden but this is the only one that came out as it was too windy and I only could go down to 1/60th before it was too dark. I then took it and fiddled with a bit. What do you think?

I don't like the coloured ones, because I think they look so artificial, although the texture of the almost natural one is beautiful. Could you just brighten it a touch so it's a bit warmer? The pollen looks amazing though.

*nods* I'm not a big fan of colour variation myself, I just wanted to try it.
I'll try to make it pop a little more but it's quite noisy so any more brightness/exposure might increase the noise even more.
Hopefully, the blossoms will still be there on Saturday when I can take some more photos in brighter light.

I think the natural one and the pink filtered one look best. The pink one works but the blue one doesn't as it looks too unnatural.

I agree, it looks radioactive. I do love the purple and normal though.

Nice! :)

I like the blue one myself, but I'm weird.

Cheers!
I'm going to try some real filters next time. Here, I just played with the Tint and Temperature sliders.

Unrelated... did [livejournal.com profile] sigrid_stallard get in touch with you? She had a query re: translation rates that I thought you might be able to give her input on. And besides, I always like introducing translators to each other :-)

Not yet, no. I don't really know much about rates as I'm not working as freelance but I can pass her on to someone who does.

Yay, more language geeks. :o)
