I had avocados in my box last week and they were about ripe yesterday so I made a sort of pesto by mashing them with good EVOO, lime juice, salt, pepper, a little cayenne and some crushed garlic. It was really nice with pasta. :o)

That sounded amazing till you got to the garlic bit :D Doesn't that make it just taste of garlic, not avocado with nice yummyness added?
Still, might try that myself without the scary bulbous vegetables, as avocado is one of the most mighty foodstuffs around :)

Most things in any recipe (apart from the main ingedient) are entirely optional so feel free to try it without garlic. :o)

Improvised a little on that formula, substituting balsamic vineagr for the lemon and taiwanese chili paste for the cayenne.

Made a very yummy gunk to have on rice. :-)
