This was a piece of a rack of lamb cut into three cutlets by the Art of Meat, marinated in garlic and olive oil.
Mashed potatoes with milk, butter and crushed garlic from the marinade.
Curly kale braised in butter. Red wine reduction.
All seasoned with salt and pepper.

Damn you, I came back to the page and it's watering again. I think I have to cook this!

Never tried kale before though, is it very similar to cabbage?

Kale is less firm than cabbage, but with a sharper taste. Very tasty.

You could write a short horror story from a vegetables point of view when writing a method..

"Mike looked up, dazed and disorientated, coughing up the lungful of milk he had ingested during that first panicked intake of breath. The assault had only just begun. The masher came down, relentless, terrifying, the screams of his family slowly replaced by the gruesome sound of potato flesh squelching through the diabolically narrow louvres of the masher. Down and down it came, caked in the flesh of his loved ones, slowly, inexorably edging towards Mike's feet. It was all he could do to hope for a swift end, but alas, this did not come. The first plunge caught him just below the midriff, splitting him in two. He stared, opened mouthed at the sight of his body, crushed, liquified, entering the formless mass that had once been his family. He barely had time to draw another breath before the masher came down again. It was then that more butter, looming off the edge of a silver palate knife, came slamming into the side of the pan, with a dreadful ringing..."
