in no particular order of chronology or importance:
- the year I turned 27
- my second year in the UK, slowly adapting to a life completely on my own and away from home (I'd lived on my own for six years previously but my parents were only 100 miles away) but still quite shocked at rent prices in Cambridge. There was no way in hell I could afford anything but what I had (and still have now). Due to the exchange rate at the time, things like clothes were actually still reasonably OK.
- slowly building a firm group of friends (the Druids lot, mostly, when people were actually still playing games at the pub). I think this was the year of the first SLA game run by

- a lovely week's holiday driving around Ireland around the first May BH
- I'm not sure, I think this was the year the Earthdawn group run by

- playing the second Discworld freeform, and my first Cam game (the intro game run by

- Met up with Paul Wallis, who ran the Stratford Cam game at the time and was about to move to Cambridge and set one up here but his job offer fell through so he moved back and I visited regularly. Met

- Spent most Sunday afternoons at the Blues Jam at the Boat Race.
