Dammit, I had wanted to be in bed early as I have an early start tomorrow but this was good stuff and Later... is back on form:
The Who: they really still have it, definitely. While Pete Townshend has turned bald and grey quite a bit, Roger Daltrey really doesn't look the 63 he is. Considering they still sing My Generation, I wonder what age they now consider "old" ;o)
Reverend and the Makers: nice and good rock, great bassline underneath, added synths that fit in nicely
Latin Legends of Fania: does what it says on the tin, classic Latin/Jazz tunes performed by people easily older than The Who and having more groove, to be honest.
Josh Ritter: happy rock with a few southern/soul influences (and a full horn section), head nodding, toe tapping fun. Awesome waxed moustache on the bass player ;o)
Bela Fleck: when I was at the Station Inn in Nashville a few amazing banjo players, I saw but this guy is just special.
Stephanie Dosen: nice voice but really not my thing. Not quite sure what to call her music, either. Schmaltzy folk?
Bed now, see some of you at Dragonmeet tomorrow.

Aber jetzt? Da fängt "alt" offensichtlich mit 60+ an. Meine Eltern sind um die 60. Aber würden die sagen, dass sie alt sind? Natürlich nicht. Das sind die über 70...
