[TV] The future of 24?
28 Nov 2007 03:32 pmJust finished watching Day 6 on DVD last night and apparently, Day 7 is going to be produced. I don't think it's going to be good, though, as to my mind, the concept has been milked dry and everything has been done. After nuking parts of LA and almost starting WWIII, what are they going to do?
- more than ever, CTU and Jack are going to be separate, there's no way he's going to be allowed back, especially with Buchanan and President Palmer out of the picture so it can't be a standard "terrorists are threatening the country and Jack is the only one who can help" type scenario.
- is it going to be the Chinese who'll try to break out Cheng and take bloody revenge on Jack for foiling their plans? I can't think of anything else.
Being nosy, I checked online a bit and found that it's going to be ""The initial back story will feature Jack Bauer on trial for his actions in the pursuit of justice. Meanwhile a major national security breach occurs when the firewall responsible for protecting America's government computer infrastructure is breached. It will also feature the show's first female president, Allison Taylor, as well as the return of Carlos Bernard as Tony Almeida, one of this season's main antagonists, who was presumed dead in Season 5. This will be the first season to see Jack not working with CTU".
Hm, I think I won't bother unless I'm really bored.
