would be 65 today.
Considering how revolutionary his stuff at the time was, who knows what sort of music he'd play today if he were still alive. Still pushing the boundaries of what can roughly defined as guitar music or obscure, offbeat, "artsy" composition work like Frank Zappa did in his later years?

Oh god, Voodoo Chile... discovered it at 14, still has the power to make me drop everything and just let it flow over me, no matter how many times I listen to it. I always say I could never pick a favourite song, but that would be the most likely to appear on any shortlist.

Personally I think he would have done a Peter Green... push boundaries till he reached absolute obscurity, then come thundering back after years of nothing by returning to his blues roots.
Thats my fantasy anyway.

*nods* That sounds entirely plausible.
I saw Peter Green a couple of years ago at the Corn Exchange, he was brilliant.
