Nice to be out

That was a jolly nice party. Thank you feanelwa for the invite.
I met a large number of new people enabling me to put some faces to random LJ names that keep cropping up and had far too much food. There were all kinds of savoury snacks, cakes, a chocolate fountain that took a while to get going but then flowed nicely, a nice big trifle, the BEST Cheddar I've ever had (called the Little Black Bomber, round in black wax coating, crumbly and creamy at the same time, strong taste without being bity, absolutely gorgeous, everyone who tried it was just completely floored by it. There's a list of stockists on the manufacturer's website and for the Cambridgians, the Milton farm shop have it), roast pork, apple sauce, more cheese, brownies, tiffin and whatnot. I don't think I'll need anything to eat tomorrow. ;o)

The dim one was me, I forgot to put in the second link. The manufacturer's website didn't have a dedicated page for the cheese.

I didn't get any of the cheese! Clearly I will have to buy some more.

I was so pleased the party went well (*ahem* anybody turned up at all instead of leaving me in my best clothes with a table full of food and no friends to eat it *ahem*) and that people enjoyed it!
