Bleh

Didn't go to bed in time last night and watched Wild Hogs instead. It's quite cool, four middle-aged friends (who are all a bit down and out and frustrated with their lives) lovingly portrayed by Tim "Home Improvement" Allen, John "Vincent" Travolta, William H. "The Shoveller" Macy and, as the token black man, Martin "Bad Boy" Lawrence, decide to go on a road trip from Cincinatti to the Pacific on their Harleys. All kinds of silly and stupid things happen to them on the road as they cross the path of a notorious biker gang led by Ray Liotta and hole up in a backwater town during its annual Chili festival. Not a laugh out loud comedy but has enough giggles to keep it going and the slapstick moments aren't too silly. The main cast clearly had a  lot of fun and play wonderfully together. The brilliant classic rock soundtrack and a cameo by Peter Fonda bring it all together. It's nothing special but a good way of spending 100 minutes with a beer and a bowl of snacks.

So I slept far into the morning today, had breakfast, went into town to get a few things, failed to meet up with faerierhona who got stuck in traffic, did some more shopping and came home.
Lamb chops for dinner tonight.

all too brief for anything real. But, a backrub and a meal would be awesome.
